1: In a food processor, blend garlic, scallion, green bell pepper, and white onion. 2: Pour the mixture over drained and rinsed jackfruit and marinate for at least 20 minutes. 3: In a large pot, heat a little oil on medium and add the marinated jackfruit, searing until slightly colored. 4: Push the mixture to the side of the pan, add brown sugar, and let melt until it just starts to smoke. 5: Sauté all together and add salt, pepper, thyme, allspice, and browning sauce. 6: Add drained and rinsed lentils and enough veggie stock to cover the jackfruit, simmer for 10-15 minutes on med-low heat. 7: For garlic bread, preheat the oven to 350ºF and make the compound butter by stirring the garlic, cashew cream, and chives into the vegan butter. 8: Cut the bread, spread an even layer of butter, and bake for 8-10 minutes until melted and slightly golden. 9: Remove bread from the oven, layer on the stew jackfruit, followed by vegan cheese, and broil until melted, topping with chives to finish.
