What you need

cup hot sauce

tsp salt

tbsp avocado oil

tbsp mustard

tsp garlic powder

cup chickpea flour

tbsp lemon juice

tsp dried thyme

tsp pepper

tsp onion powder

cup water

tbsp chili oil

cup ground flaxseed

tbsp agave syrup
Instructions
1: Start by peeling plantain and cutting into halves. 2: Fry plantains on medium heat until golden and cooked through. Let cool for 5 mins on a paper towel-lined tray. 3: Lay the plantains in a waffle iron, press flat, and cook for about 5 mins or until they release easily and are slightly crisp. 4: For the mushroom, chop lion’s mane into small chunks. 5: Dredge mushrooms once in the wet batter and then in the dry batter. 6: Fry mushrooms in avocado oil at medium-high heat for 5-7 mins until crisp all around. 7: Combine all sauce ingredients in a mixing bowl, stir, and toss in the mushrooms to coat. 8: Assemble and enjoy.View original recipe
