A delicious Black Bean Burger made from canned black beans, onions, mushrooms, black or brown rice, gluten-free oats, and various spices. These burgers are sautéed for a crispy finish and can be customized with your favorite toppings.

What you need

can black beans

tsp smoked paprika

tsp onion powder

tsp salt

cup ketchup

tsp garlic powder

tsp pepper

cup oats

cup brown rice
Instructions
1: Sauté your half onion with the mushrooms roughly chopped until onions are translucent and mushrooms have released all moisture. 2: Mash black beans in a large bowl with a fork until mixture resembles mashed potatoes with a few beans still intact. 3: Blend 1/4 cup of oats in food processor until granular and spices are incorporated. 4: Mix mashed beans and sautéed vegetables in mixing bowl along with blended spice flour. 5: Add 1/4 cup of ketchup to mixture. 6: Mix until all combined and mixture forms patty. 7: Pan fry until crispy and cooked through. 8: Dress with toppings of choice and enjoy!View original recipe
