What you need

tbsp browning sauce

tsp allspice

tbsp brown sugar

tbsp dried thyme

clove garlic

tsp salt

tsp pepper

can lentil

cup vegetable stock

can jackfruit

tbsp fresh chives

cup vegan cheese

tbsp cashew milk
Instructions
1: In a food processor, blend garlic, scallion, green bell pepper, and white onion. 2: Pour the mixture over drained and rinsed jackfruit and marinate for at least 20 minutes. 3: In a large pot, heat a little oil on medium and add the marinated jackfruit, searing until slightly colored. 4: Push the mixture to the side of the pan, add brown sugar, and let melt until it just starts to smoke. 5: Sauté all together and add salt, pepper, thyme, allspice, and browning sauce. 6: Add drained and rinsed lentils and enough veggie stock to cover the jackfruit, simmer for 10-15 minutes on med-low heat. 7: For garlic bread, preheat the oven to 350ºF and make the compound butter by stirring the garlic, cashew cream, and chives into the vegan butter. 8: Cut the bread, spread an even layer of butter, and bake for 8-10 minutes until melted and slightly golden. 9: Remove bread from the oven, layer on the stew jackfruit, followed by vegan cheese, and broil until melted, topping with chives to finish.View original recipe
