What you need

tbsp mustard

tsp garlic powder

tsp salt

tsp smoked paprika

cup hot sauce

cup vegetable stock

cup water

tsp pepper

cup flour

tsp onion powder

can jackfruit

tsp mushroom mix

tbsp ground flaxseed
Instructions
1: Drain jackfruit from cans. 2: Pour out veggie stock into a bowl and let jackfruit marinate for about 30 mins. 3: Once marinated, drain and lay out jackfruit on a lined baking tray. 4: Add seasonings and a little bit of oil, mix to coat evenly, and bake for 15-20 mins until dried but not crispy. 5: Remove from oven and let cool. 6: Heat oil for frying in a large pan. 7: For the wet batter, mix flax seeds, water, hot sauce, and mustard and set aside. 8: In a separate bowl, add flour, salt, pepper, and parsley. 9: Dredge each piece of jackfruit in the wet batter and then the flour mixture twice. 10: Fry until golden and crispy, then let cool on a paper towel lined plate, serve, and enjoy!View original recipe
