can jackfruit

cup vegetable stock

tsp salt

tsp pepper

tsp garlic powder

tsp onion powder

tsp smoked paprika
tsp mushroom blend

tbsp ground flaxseed

cup water

cup flour

cup hot sauce

tbsp mustard
Instructions
1: Drain jackfruit from cans. 2: Pour vegetable stock into a bowl and let jackfruit marinate for about 30 minutes. 3: Once marinated, drain jackfruit and lay it out on a lined baking tray. 4: Add seasonings and a little bit of oil, mix to evenly coat, and bake for 15-20 minutes until dried out but not crispy. 5: Remove from the oven and let cool. 6: Heat oil for frying in a large pan. 7: For the wet batter, add flax seeds, water, hot sauce, and mustard. Mix and set aside. 8: In a bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, and parsley. 9: Dredge each piece of jackfruit in the wet and dry mixes twice, repeating with remaining pieces. 10: Fry until golden and crispy all around. 11: Let cool on a paper towel-lined plate, serve, and enjoy!View original recipe
