What you need
tsp dried oregano

cup frying oil

tsp garlic powder

tbsp red chili flakes

fl oz avocado oil

tsp dried thyme

cup chickpea flour

tsp smoked paprika

tsp paprika

tsp pepper

cup hot sauce

tsp onion powder

tsp cayenne pepper

tbsp mustard

tsp salt

cup water

tbsp flax seed

tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
1: Combine ground flax, water, hot sauce, and mustard in a small bowl, mix and set aside. 2: Combine all dry ingredients for the batter, whisk and set aside. 3: Separate mushrooms and coat them in the wet batter, then in the dry batter twice until well coated. 4: Fry in avocado oil until golden and crispy, then set aside. 5: In a heatproof bowl, combine about a cup of the frying oil with the Nashville hot sauce spices and whisk to combine. 6: Toss the fried mushrooms in the sauce until fully coated. 7: Optionally garnish with pickle and more Nashville sauce on top.
