What you need

cup chickpea flour

tbsp brown sugar

cup coconut cream

tsp allspice

tsp salt

tsp vanilla extract

cup water

tbsp tahini

tsp cinnamon

tsp baking powder

fl oz grapeseed oil
Instructions
1: For the sauce, add all ingredients and blend until smooth. 2: For the fritters, in a mixing bowl add the chickpea flour, brown sugar, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon. Whisk to combine and set aside. 3: In a larger mixing bowl, peel the plantain and mash fully with a fork or potato masher. 4: Add in the water and vanilla, mix together. 5: Add in the dry ingredients and fold together with a spatula. 6: Heat oil on medium-high heat. 7: Scoop batter with a spoon and lay gently in the oil. 8: Cook for 2 minutes on each side or until golden and crisp. 9: Optionally top with powdered monkfruit sweetener and cinnamon or maple syrup and enjoy.View original recipe
