This recipe for Red Lentil Tofu combines red lentils and various seasonings to create a delicious plant-based tofu alternative. After soaking and blending lentils, cook the mixture until thick, set it in the fridge, and then air fry the tofu cubes for perfect crispness. What you need

tbsp chili oil

cup red lentils

tsp lemon juice

tbsp fresh basil

tsp salt

tbsp agave

tbsp sriracha

cup avocado oil

clove garlic

cup water

tsp fresh chives
Instructions
1: Add lentils, seasoning cube and boiling water to a blender and let soak for 15 mins. 2: Blend until smooth. 3: Transfer mixture to a wide pan and cook down on medium heat, stirring consistently until thickened. 4: Transfer to a heat-proof container and leave in fridge for at least 3 hours to overnight to set. 5: Once set, chop tofu into cubes and coat with oil and seasonings of choice mixed with arrowroot starch. 6: Air fry at 400ºF for 20 mins or until desired crispness is reached. 7: For the sauce, combine all ingredients and stir to mix. 8: Pour sauce over air-fried tofu and enjoy.View original recipe
