Delicious jackfruit sliders made with @daveskillerbread Organic Rock ’N’ Rolls, seasoned jackfruit, and a sweet heat sauce, perfect for a crowd or meal prep.

What you need

can jackfruit

slice vegan cheese

tsp salt

tsp pepper

tsp paprika

tsp garlic powder

tsp smoked paprika

tsp cayenne pepper

tsp onion powder
tsp dried oregano

tsp dried thyme

cup bell pepper

cup onion

cup fresh basil

tbsp vegan margarine

tsp smoked paprika

tsp cayenne pepper

tsp red pepper flake

cup maple syrup

cup avocado oil
Instructions
1: Drain and rinse jackfruit, then transfer to a bowl and coat in seasonings, tossing to fully coat. 2: Cover and let marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. 3: Sear the jackfruit until browned and slightly crispy, then set aside in a bowl. 4: For sweet heat sauce, combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and cook down until slightly thickened. 5: Pour the sauce over the jackfruit along with the fresh peppers, onions, and basil. Toss to combine. 6: Slice Rock ’N’ Rolls down the middle and layer in a baking dish with the jackfruit filling and vegan cheese (and optional jalapeños). 7: Bake at 400ºF until cheese has melted and enjoy.View original recipe
